disrupting intellectual property wikkki by thee teach :]

When it comes to wikis I had always thought that anyone can go on and edit and change everything, but I didn't know so many people have their wikis that they are passionate about and when they see something changed they change it back to what they feel is the right answer or argue until someone wins. When it comes to intellectual property the piece explained various examples from artists and writers."For example, the ability of an individual to manipulate digital music files through ripping, copying, downloading, and remixing has set the stage". We are trying to find a balance of what should be legal and what should be illegal. This piece is helpful especially reading this in the beginning we need to learn to collaborate it's a group effort and even though people may have the same thoughts as you do or totally different ones...its part of a partnership that you have to work things out together to make it a wiki to show a community of writers. I do feel there was some tension between the two authors because obviously as individuals they have their own mindset and they're not always going to say, "yeah thats a good idea". They're is going to be agreeing and disagreeing. This piece definitely helped me understand the wiki more from a classroom stance than the other authors piece, which will help my group along our journey with the wikkkkkki.
