6am-woke up for soccer practice with my cell phone alarm
listened to cd in the car on the way to practice
7am- read a magazine while I ran on the treadmill
8am- drove back from practice listened to cd in car
drove to steaming bean listened to music and read the paper
advertisements on a poster board everywhere in steaming bean
in the bathroom there were famous quote about being a woman
9am- drove back from steaming bean listening to cd player in car
10am- woke up from cell phone alarm
checked e-mail on the computer
checked account bank balance on the computer
checked facebook on the computer
12pm-listened to ipod on the way to class
went over a computer program in class
1pm-listened to ipod on the way back from class
watched tv when I got home some witch movie
layed down in bed while watching t.v.
3:30 pm- got ready for soccer fundraiser while listening to cd player in my room
4:30pm- drove to Cj's listening to ipod stereo
drove to mcdonalds listening to ipod stereo
drove back to campus listening to ipod stereo
6pm- listned to womens basketball warm up mix while they pre-gamed
advertisements in the gym
drove back to Cj's listening to ipod stereo
7pm- served dinner for fundraiser listening to "love songs" for valentines day
9pm- drove home after dinner listening to ipod stereo
drove to pub listening to ipod stereo
10pm- listening to music at the Pub

11:30pm drove home listening to ipod stereo
received two phone calls
watched The Real World
showed my friend pictures on my cell phone
2:30am listened to cd in car while dropping someone off
Throughout the day I couldn't keep track of how many text messages I had received and sent probably about 100 in total.
Media has an effect on almost everything i do and everywhere I go. I never realized how much I use the simple things like i-pod and my cell phone in a day. Media has such an entertaining impact on anyone's life. I find it a bit difficult to jot down every single media usage you see, walking outside you would have to write down everyone you saw wearing a certain brand of clothing and thats a lot of people. I have no idea what I would do without "my essential media items".
